On Sunday, June 7th, the department had the honor of graduating 28 Fellows during an elegant reception in the Presidents’ Room at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club.
Congratulations to Dr. Nazish Hashmi, a Cardiothoracic Anesthesia fellow, for receiving the Resident Travel Award from the Association of University Anesthesiologists (AUA) that was held at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, April 23–25, 2015.
Dr. Kayla Bryan (Duke Anesthesiology chief resident, 2015) and Dr. Amy Mauritz (Obstetric Anesthesiology fellow, 2014-15) provide a firsthand account of their mission trip to Africa as part of the Duke Anesthesiology Global Health Program.
