Thanks to everyone who joined the third Twitter Journal Club discussion on Thursday, August 20th at the Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans Center and live via Twitter!
To date, this innovative, educational journal club has gathered more than 125 participants on Twitter, generated nearly 1,000 tweets and formed more than one million impressions!
This time, we had a lively, classroom discussion among 33 participants and moderators, Dr. Ankeet Udani (@ankeetudani) and Dr. Jeffrey Gadsden (@jeffgadsden), whose published article was the topic of discussion: opening injection pressure consistently detects needle-nerve contact during ultrasound-guided interscalene brachial plexus block.
The TJC took place between August 16th and August 24th using tweeted, daily questions for discussion via Duke Anesthesiology’s Twitter page (@DukeAnesthesia). A curated discussion will be posted on the Duke Anesthesiology website.
