Ankeet Udani, MD, MSEd, has been selected to serve as a member of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation Committee on Education and Training. His term begins on October 22, 2016, at the APSF CET annual meeting at the American Society of Anesthesiologists conference in Chicago.
The APSF is known as the pioneer organization dedicated to assuring patient safety. It was formed in 1985 and has since become the leader in proactive efforts to dramatically improve the safety of anesthesia administration and reduce adverse events. Its mission is to improve continually the safety of patient during anesthesia care by encouraging and conducting safety research and education, patient safety programs and campaigns, and national/international exchange of information and ideas.
