Overview

The Division of Basic Sciences is devoted to the pre-clinical study of critical scientific questions that could impact patient care in anesthesiology. These world-renowned researchers work in independent but collaborative laboratories as described in the following sections. Further, these scientists also co-investigate with multiple disciplines within and outside of the Medical Center. This Division is also pleased to educate undergraduate and medical students as well as post-graduate students in the art and science of investigative studies. Please peruse the descriptions of the various laboratories. Each primary investigator would be happy to answer any questions.
