Clinical Interests:
General anesthesia, anesthesia for vascular surgery, anesthesia for liver transplantation, monitoring of the recurrent laryngeal nerve during thyroidectomy

Research Interests:
I presently have an interest in the outcome of the severly hyponatremic patient undergoing liver transplantation. I also have an interest in the effects of anesthesia on the use of monitoring of the nervous system. I have also been involved in a number of industry sponsored projects in both the operating room and human pharmacology laboratory.
