Conjoined Twins Separated at Duke – Healthy Lives Predicted

On June 18, 2015, two full teams of anesthesiologists assisted surgeons with the first separation of conjoined twins at Duke, lasting 10-hours. Previously attached at the hip and sharing a liver, eight-month-old twins, Josiah and Aryan Covington, recovered within a week and are expected to lead healthy lives.
