Duke Anesthesiology hosts a Twitter-augmented journal club series and you are invited to participate.

The goals of utilizing Twitter to augment the journal club are:

  1. To provide you with a broad perspective and interpretation of each journal article from users around the world.
  2. To offer 24/7 access to discussions.
  3. To use an innovative yet familiar platform for educational purposes.

Please see the schedule below. Discussions will open on the first day listed and continue until the following Sunday at midnight EST. After the journal club is complete, a curated discussion will be posted on this webpage.

Instructions for Public

Starting on the date listed, we will be tweeting a discussion cluster (questions) daily via @Duke_Anesthesia using the hashtag #AnesJC for discussion. We invite you all to engage in the online discussion. Please tag each of your tweets with #AnesJC and the question number.

Instructions for Duke Anesthesiology Trainees

Starting on the date listed, you will need to read the article and answer four discussion cluster questions to prepare for the journal club. The live journal club will take place on the following Thursday from 5 – 6:15 pm.

We will be tweeting each discussion cluster daily via @Duke_Anesthesia using the hashtag #AnesJC. We invite you to engage in the online discussion. Please tag each of your tweets with #AnesJC and the question number.

The moderators will curate the online discussion and bring highlights to the live discussion on Thursday. We will also be live-tweeting the journal club between 5 – 6:15 pm on Thursday.
