Background and Interests
Chloe graduated from Duke in 2023, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Computer Science and Chemistry. She is motivated to advance scientific knowledge through interdisciplinary collaboration. Thus, she is currently developing a software suite for the Nackley Lab. Her goal is that by automating repetitive tasks and optimizing workflows, researchers can focus on the innovative aspects of their work, ultimately accelerating scientific findings.
Further, Chloe is an advocate for women’s health and is interested in sex-differences in chronic primary pain conditions. She is currently investigating the role of sex-hormones and the estrous cycle on pain perception.
Outside of the lab, Chloe is a huge Duke (and Boston) sports fan, loves going to concerts, and plays trumpet and guitar.
