Background and Research Interests
Lindsey received her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where she worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Carter Lab studying the developmental effects of toxic chemical treatments in zebrafish larvae. After graduating, she worked as a professional research assistant in the Veress Lab at the University of Colorado where she performed a variety of techniques in translationally relevant respiratory disease models. She recently the Donnelly lab at Duke to explore her interest in translational pain research. Her role in the lab primarily involves behavioral testing and surgical procedures on chronic pain models.
