Background and Research Interests
Natalia is a second-year undergraduate student at Duke University pursuing a major in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience, with the long-term goal of becoming a physician or a physician-scientist. Natalia joined our group in the summer of 2022 after being accepted into the highly regarded Duke Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Fellowship (B-SURF) Program. Her research is focused on characterizing the involvement of neuro-immune signaling pathways in pain resolution.
