When a colleague faced a prolonged and demanding shift caring for a patient requiring intensive management and received the "go call" for a heart transplant immediately after the first case concluded, Dr. Miletic stepped up without hesitation to care for the heart transplant patient so his colleague could get some rest. Dr. Miletic's willingness to provide balance and ensure high-quality care for our patients during a difficult call time is an example for us all.
