Long-Time CRNA Jim Neblett Retires this June

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Jim Neblett, CRNA, a long-time CRNA at the VA, is retiring from the U.S. Air Force Reserve this June.  He has served our country for 28 years and will continue to serve his fellow veterans and wounded warriors at the Durham VAMC.  LTC Neblett has been a flight nurse for most of his career and has logged over 1350 hours on the C-141, C-130, C-9 and KC-135.  He has worked in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield and was deployed to Germany for Operation Desert Storm. He has also served in Qatar, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Oman and Iraq.  For Operation New Dawn, LTC Neblett worked at Joint Base Balad, Iraq.  He was the last Flight Commander for the 332nd Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility.
