Faculty within the Neuroanesthesiology, Otolaryngology and Offsite Anesthesiology Division aim to support growth and advance clinical excellence in neurosurgery, otolaryngology and interventional radiology. Duke's leadership in neurosurgical care is underscored by its expertise in neurovascular, seizure and movement disorder, complex spine, and brain tumor treatments, supported by ongoing clinical trials and state-of-the-art resources such as the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, intraoperative MRI, intraoperative CT, and advanced neuromonitoring. With access to world-class advanced airway techniques and faculty expertise, which we employ in cooperation with our ENT surgeons on complex head and neck surgical cases, we provide sophisticated care for patients in the field of otolaryngology. Through innovative research and clinical care initiatives, the division produces insights aimed at transforming care in neuroanesthesia and critical care, ultimately advancing the field.
