Mike Neal, CRNA in the Duke Adult EP Lab recently had the opportunity to present at an EP conference last month.
Last summer he published an article in EP Digest titled “The Use of Cerebral Oximetry Monitoring in the EP lab”. In a positive response to that article, he was honored to be asked to present about using cerebral oximetry in the EP lab at the annual conference for the South Atlantic Society for Electrophysiology for Allied Professionals in Myrtle Beach, SC. The title of his lecture was “The use of Cerebral Oximetry in the Electrophysiology Lab”and seemed to be well received by the EP MDs, RNs and EP technicians that attended the conference.
Mike stated, “I am very glad I had the opportunity to share information about this important clinical topic and discuss how Duke utilizes the latest in technology to help increase PT safety and procedure outcomes”.
