Congratulations to Elizabeth Malinzak, MD, FASA, on being selected as a recipient of the ASA-SEA Distinguished Educator in Anesthesiology Award, recognizing her significant contributions to the advancement and sharing of anesthesiology knowledge.

The Duke University Medical Center is the first center in the nation to be awarded accreditation in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, under the current leadership of Duke Anesthesiology’s Dr. Alina Nicoara.
