Duke Anesthesiology’s physicians and residents are committed to actively taking mission trips to achieve health equality worldwide. Please be aware that there are deadlines that you must meet in order to receive tax credit in the current calendar year for your gift. To get credit for that calendar year, please ensure that all checks, online gifts or transfers, pledges, stocks, and other securities are received or post-marked no later than December 31st of that calendar year. If checks are post-marked after December 31st of that calendar year, Duke Alumni and Development Records will apply that check toward the next calendar year.

DEDUCTIBILITY: Duke University qualifies as a “public” charitable organization and meets the requirements of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Gifts to Duke are deductible at the highest limits allowed for federal income or estate tax purposes.
